Debi I am Debi, a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been highly trained to help you maintain a healthy smile.

I am from a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I have practiced 40 years in PA, OH and TN.

I am married to a loving and patient man, George. I have 3 adult children and 2 boxers, Gracie and Peyton. Sarah, my oldest daughter, is a Deaf Education teacher in Chattanooga. My son, Michael, is a Critical Care Pharmacist at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. My youngest daughter, Lindsay, is an RN and is studying to at UT to be a Nurse Practioner.

I love sports, especially the Vols and, of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers. I enjoy decorating my house and going to the beach.

FaraHi, my name is Fara. I became a Registered Dental Hygienist 4 years ago and have been in dentistry for the past 10 years. I grew up in Louisiana, but lived in Phoenix, AZ for 10 years before moving to beautiful East Tennessee.

My loving and patient husband and I have been married for 9 years. We have 2 darling, little boys ages 2 and 3 years old. They definitely keep us busy! We've also been having fun checking out what East Tennessee has to offer. Although I'm a LSU fan, I still enjoy being around all of the "orange" in the Fall.

I have been working at Dr. Barnes' office for less than a year and truly enjoy working for her. Her staff here is amazing to work with and our patients are wonderful, too.

LoisHi, my name is Lois. I am originally from Buffalo, New York. I have been a registered Dental Assistant since 1988. I enjoy my job and like to make people smile.

I have been married 40 plus years and have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Also, I have a dog named Ridley. He is a Maltipoo.

My favorite hobby and pastime is taking care of my grandchildren. My other interests are knitting, sewing and reading. I love to spend time at the beach and do Sudoku puzzles.

Football is my favorite sport. I love to watch UT, the Titans and the Cowboys (my late son's favorite team).

We have a lot of fun at our office and love to see all of our patients, both new and established. It is our goal to make our patients smile.

TeresaHello, my name is Teresa. I am the one that greets you on the phone and at the front desk with a smile.

I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. I have lived here my whole life. Go Vols!

I am new with Dr. Barnes, but have been in dentistry for 20 years. I have 2 children, a son and a daughter. I also have 2 dogs.

I am a Breast Cancer Survivor since 2012 and I enjoy life to the fullest. I also enjoy meeting new people.

This office is great! The staff and patients have made me feel so welcomed here. It's like I have always been a part of their dental family. I love how Dr. Barnes shows her love and compassion for each one of her patients.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my children, family and friends. I love the beach. So any chance I get, my bags are packed and I am out the door!

I look forward to meeting all of the patients at Dr. Barnes' office. Hope to see you soon.

SamLast but not least, my name is Sam. I was born in Harlan County KY and lived there for the first 28 years of my life. I then lived in Southwest VA for 14 years, where my husband pastored a Baptist Church. We moved to Clinton, TN in 2003. I am now a Wildcat fan in the land of Volunteers!

I am Dr. Barnes' Monday girl. I am mostly found helping Teresa, but sometimes find my way to the assistant's chair. I became a dental assistant in 1983 and later gained my certifications. I have worked in 3 states! I also taught dental assisting for 4 years at Knoxville's Tennessee Technology Center.

My husband of over 35 years is Jeff. We have 2 grown children. Matthew is married to Jessica. They are the parents of our two grandchildren, Gabby and Zavey. Matthew teaches and coaches football at Anderson County High School. Our daughter, Sarah lives and works in Knoxville and is soon to be married to Chris.

I love being with family and friends, church activities, walking and working in my flowers. I hope to see you soon at Dr. Barnes' Office!
